Product registration

Register your hardware

Registering takes two minutes and puts the serial on file before you need it — so if something ever fails, the claim is already halfway done. It works for hardware bought anywhere, not just from us.

Register what you bought

Coverage starts on delivery whether you register or not — registering just means we already have the serial on file when you need us, which turns a claim into a two-minute job.

  • Claims skip the paperwork. Serial already matched to your order, so an RMA is issued without hunting for a receipt.
  • Works for hardware bought anywhere. Amazon, eBay, a reseller, or direct — if it came off our bench, register it here.
  • You get told before it expires. One reminder at 30 days out, so a failing drive gets claimed while it is still covered.
  • Transfers with the hardware. Reselling to a client? Coverage follows the serial, and registration is how the next owner proves it.
Where do I find the serial? On the drive label, usually under the barcode — an 8 to 12 character code. On servers and switches it is on the service tag or the rear panel. If you cannot read it, photograph the label and send it to us instead.

Past five units, a spreadsheet beats typing. Download the template, fill it in, and email it back.

  • One unit per row, and leave the column headers alone
  • Required columns: Serial Number, Order Number, Purchase Date
  • Dates as YYYY-MM-DD — 2026-07-14, not 07-14-2026
  • Units from the same order repeat the order number on each row
  • Do not know a serial? Leave it blank and we will chase it with you
Email your completed list to warranty@anyhdd.com XLSX or CSV. We confirm every serial with its coverage end date once the file is processed.

Registration is optional and free. We use these details for warranty service only — no marketing lists.
