Thirty days to be sure
Wrong spec, wrong count, or simply not what the project needed — send it back within 30 days of delivery, new or refurbished. There is no restocking fee and you do not have to justify the decision to anyone. If the item arrived defective, damaged, or is not what you ordered, we cover the return shipping too.
Send your order number and what you are returning, or start it yourself from your account. We will email the return label and RMA number — free if the item was defective, damaged, or not what you ordered; otherwise the label cost is yours.
A return and a warranty claim are different things
Both are handled by the same team. The difference is timing and outcome — picking the right one saves you a couple of days. Warranty claims and anything that arrived defective ship back on us.
- Ordered the wrong interface, capacity, or form factor
- Project scope changed and you over-ordered
- Condition is not what you expected from the listing
- It arrived dead and you would rather have the money than a swap
- It worked, then failed in service
- SMART is throwing reallocated or pending sectors
- Throughput is below the model's own spec sheet
- You need the same part back in the array, not a credit
Six things worth knowing before you ship
All of it is on this page rather than buried in terms. If a situation is not covered here, ask — we would rather sort it out than have you eat the cost of a mistake.
What happens after you hand it to the carrier
Refunds go back to your original payment method, with no restocking fee. You get an email at every step, including the inspection result. Nothing goes quiet.
The situations that actually come up
Not sure whether to return it or claim it?
Send us the order number and what the hardware is doing. We will point you at whichever route gets you working again fastest.
