What's in the box.

The monitor IT standardizes on.
A 24-inch IPS panel at 1080p, a stand that moves every way a desk needs, and a four-port USB hub so one cable to the PC lights up the keyboard, mouse and webcam. The same on every desk.

Easy on the eyes, by design.
In-plane switching keeps color and contrast steady from any seat at the desk, 178° in every direction, and the anti-glare 3H coating takes the window reflections out of the picture. Full HD at 60 Hz on every input, with 99% sRGB color.
The panel is flicker-free and uses Dell's low-blue-light panel technology (ComfortView Plus), which meets TÜV Rheinland's hardware low-blue-light requirements at the factory default setting, so blue light drops without a yellow software filter.

A stand that moves.
Every axis, to the number.
The P2422H's stand adjusts on four axes; pick one to see Dell's published range.

Left side

Rear, cable slot in the riser

Right side
Ranges from Dell's P2422H User's Guide. Pivot works in both directions. The stand is removable and the panel takes any VESA 100 × 100 mm arm.
Three video inputs. A USB hub. One clean cable run.
DisplayPort and HDMI carry the full 60 Hz, and VGA is there for the legacy PC in the corner. Connect the upstream USB cable and the monitor becomes a four-port hub.

There is no USB-C port on this model. A laptop with only USB-C video needs a USB-C to DisplayPort or HDMI cable, sold separately; the hub's upstream cable is USB-A to USB-B.
Built to sit next to another one.
The bezel is 5.38 mm on three sides, so two P2422Hs side by side lose 10.8 mm (0.42 in) of frame at the seam. Pivot one into portrait for long documents and code, and Easy Arrange snaps windows into layouts across both.

One model for the whole floor.
The P-series is Dell's commercial line: the one that gets bought in quantity, mounted on arms, locked to desks and managed by IT.
Dell Display Manager
Easy Arrange window layouts, input switching and brightness from the desktop, on Windows.
Locks down
Security-lock slot, an M3 stand-lock screw point, and power-button and OSD menu lock so settings stay where IT put them.
Mounts anywhere
VESA 100 × 100 with a removable stand; the panel weighs 7.47 lb without stand or cables, so a standard arm carries it.
Runs cheap
12 W in use, 0.3 W in standby. ENERGY STAR, EPEAT, TCO Certified. No external power brick.
Plugs into anything with a video port.
The picture is plug-and-play over DisplayPort, HDMI or VGA from any computer with those outputs. Dell Display Manager is an optional Windows download for the window-layout features.
A DisplayPort or HDMI output, or VGA. For the USB hub, one free USB-A port on the computer for the upstream cable.
A power brick, a driver, or an adapter, unless your laptop only has USB-C video; then a USB-C to DisplayPort or HDMI cable does it.
Renewed, the way we do it.
Every Renewed P2422H goes through the same five stations before it's listed.

Model and service tag logged. Panel, stand riser and base checked as a complete set.
Full panel test
Dell's built-in self-diagnostic run through its full-screen gray, red, green, blue, black and white screens; every video input and USB port checked; every stand axis checked through its range.

Questions we get asked.
Does it have speakers?
No. The P2422H has no built-in speakers or headphone jack. Audio comes from the computer or a headset.
Can I connect my laptop over USB-C?
Not directly. The P2422H has DisplayPort, HDMI and VGA inputs and no USB-C port. If your laptop only has USB-C video, a USB-C to DisplayPort or HDMI cable connects it.
What refresh rate does it run at?
60 Hz at the native 1920 × 1080, on DisplayPort, HDMI and VGA alike. If you want a higher refresh rate in the same family, the P2425H runs at 100 Hz.
Can I remove the stand and use a monitor arm?
Yes. The stand comes off with the release button and the panel has standard VESA 100 × 100 mm mounting holes behind a cover. The panel alone weighs 7.47 lb without cables.
Can I daisy-chain a second monitor from it?
No. The P2422H has no DisplayPort output, so each monitor needs its own connection from the computer or a dock. Two of them run from a dock like the Dell WD25, which has two DisplayPort outputs.
How fast does it ship?
Every order ships with tracking. Delivery options and timing are shown at checkout.
What warranty comes with it?
One year from the date of delivery. It may also be eligible for the original manufacturer's warranty, but AnyHDD's own 1-year coverage applies either way.One year from the date of delivery, covered by AnyHDD.
What if I need to return it?
If it fails in the first 30 days, you choose replacement or refund. There is no restocking fee, and refunds go back to your original payment method. If the item arrived defective, damaged, or isn't what you ordered, AnyHDD pays the return shipping; for any other reason the return label is yours to cover.
Does the monitor keep any data from my computer?
No. Dell's Statement of Volatility for the P2422H lists its non-volatile memory as firmware and the monitor's own configuration data, and marks none of it as user-accessible for external data. Renewed units also have the on-screen settings reset to factory defaults before they are listed. We've supplied IT hardware to businesses since 2006.
