The monitor IT standardizes on.

A 24-inch IPS panel at 1080p and 120 Hz, a stand that moves every way a desk needs, and a USB hub with two 15 W USB-C ports on the bottom edge, so one cable to the PC lights up the keyboard, mouse and webcam.

Easy on the eyes, by design.

In-plane switching keeps color and contrast steady from any seat at the desk, 178° in every direction. The 120 Hz refresh makes scrolling and cursor movement smoother than a standard 60 Hz office panel, and the anti-glare 3H coating takes the window reflections out of the picture.

Dell's ComfortView Plus is a hardware low-blue-light panel rather than a yellow software filter, so colors stay accurate while blue-light emission stays at or below 35%. The panel is TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort 3.0 certified at four stars and flicker-free.

DisplayPort, HDMI and a USB hub. Nothing you don't need.

DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 1.4 both drive the full 120 Hz. There is no VGA port on this model. Connect the upstream USB cable and the monitor becomes a four-port hub, with two 15 W USB-C ports on the bottom edge.

The bezel is 5.80 mm on three sides, so two P2426Hs side by side lose 11.6 mm (0.46 in) of frame at the seam. Pivot one into portrait for long documents and code, and Easy Arrange snaps windows into layouts across both.

One model for the whole floor.

The P-series is Dell's commercial line: the one that gets bought in quantity, mounted on arms, locked to desks and managed by IT.

Dell Display and Peripheral Manager

Easy Arrange window layouts and Easy Arrange Memory, input switching and brightness from the desktop. IT can manage the fleet from Dell Device Management Console.

Locks down

Kensington security slot, an M3 stand-lock screw point, and power-button and OSD menu lock so settings stay where IT put them.

Mounts anywhere

VESA 100 × 100 with a removable stand; the panel weighs 6.53 lb without stand or cables, so a standard arm carries it.

Runs cheap

11.7 W in use, 0.3 W in standby. ENERGY STAR, EPEAT, TCO Certified. No external power brick. Silent Firmware Update installs monitor firmware while the PC sleeps or is disconnected, triggered by IT.

Plugs into anything with a video port.

Dell lists Windows 10 and later. The picture is plug-and-play over DisplayPort or HDMI from any computer with those outputs; Dell Display and Peripheral Manager is an optional Windows download for the window-layout features.

Questions we get asked.

Does it have speakers?

No. The P2426H has no built-in speakers or headphone jack. There are magnetic slots on the bottom edge for Dell's optional soundbar, sold separately.

Can I connect my laptop over USB-C?

Not for video. The USB-C ports on this model are hub ports for data and up to 15 W of charging. If your laptop only has USB-C video, a USB-C to DisplayPort or HDMI cable connects it at the full 120 Hz.

Does it really run at 120 Hz?

Yes, on both DisplayPort and HDMI at the native 1920 × 1080; Dell lists a 120 Hz preset mode for each. After connecting, check that the refresh rate is set to 120 Hz in your computer's display settings.

Can I remove the stand and use a monitor arm?

Yes. The stand comes off with the release button and the panel has standard VESA 100 × 100 mm mounting holes behind a cover. The panel alone weighs 6.53 lb without cables.

Can I daisy-chain a second monitor from it?

No. The P2426H has no DisplayPort output, so each monitor needs its own connection from the computer or a dock. Two of them run from a dock like the Dell WD25, which has two DisplayPort outputs.

How fast does it ship?

Every order ships with tracking. Delivery options and timing are shown at checkout.

What warranty comes with it?

One year from the date of delivery. It may also be eligible for the original manufacturer's warranty, but AnyHDD's own 1-year coverage applies either way.

What if I need to return it?

If it fails in the first 30 days, you choose replacement or refund. There is no restocking fee, and refunds go back to your original payment method. If the item arrived defective, damaged, or isn't what you ordered, AnyHDD pays the return shipping; for any other reason the return label is yours to cover.

Does the monitor keep any data from my computer?

No. Dell's Statement of Volatility for the P2426H lists its non-volatile memory as firmware and the monitor's own configuration data, and marks none of it as user-accessible for external data. We've supplied IT hardware to businesses since 2006.
