What's in the box.

Reads anything you point it at.
Honeywell’s Voyager XP 1470g reads the codes a register sees every day, merchandise UPCs, coupons and digital wallets on a phone, damaged and poorly printed labels, and reaches far enough to scan the bottom of a cart without bending.

Damaged labels, phone screens, digital wallets.
Honeywell built the XP 1470g for the codes that slow a lane down: damaged and poorly printed labels, coupons and wallets on a customer’s phone, and codes at awkward angles. A 1040 × 720 imager reads at 15% contrast through ±65° pitch and ±70° skew under warm white illumination.
It also reads DotCode and, on supported configurations, Digimarc digital watermarks and OCR fonts, and holds a read at up to 27.6 inches per second of motion.

Pick what you'll scan.
See how far away it reads.
Honeywell publishes a typical near-to-far depth of field for each barcode type. Choose one to see it drawn to scale.
Ranges are Honeywell’s typical performance figures for the Voyager XP 1470g at the stated barcode resolution; print quality, contrast and lighting affect real-world results.
Trigger it, or set it in the stand.
In its default mode the scanner reads when you press the button. Scan the Presentation Mode barcode and it reads whatever it sees, ready for the stand that comes in the box.

Questions we get asked.
Does it work with a Mac, an iPad or a Chromebook?
It connects over USB, and the adapter in the box fits a USB-C port. Honeywell doesn’t publish an operating-system list for the 1470g in its public documents, so we don’t list one; tell us your setup and we’ll confirm before you order.
Will it read a barcode from a phone screen?
Yes. Honeywell tuned the XP 1470g for digital coupons, codes and wallets on customers’ smartphones; its typical range for a 20 mil QR code is 0.2 to 12.8 inches.
How do I use it hands-free in the stand?
Scan the Presentation Mode barcode in the Quick Start Guide; the scanner then reads whenever it sees a barcode. Scan Manual Trigger - Normal to go back to button scanning.
How do I make it press Enter or Tab after each scan?
Scan Add CR Suffix for a carriage return or Add Tab Suffix for a tab, both printed in the Quick Start Guide. Remove Suffix takes them off again.
What’s the difference from the Voyager XP 1472g?
The 1472g is the cordless version: the same imager and decode performance, with Bluetooth to a charge and communication base and a replaceable 2,400 mAh battery. Choose the corded 1470g when nothing needs charging.
