What's in the box.

230 W for the workstation.
The Workstation Dock powers a mobile workstation with up to 230 W through Lenovo's Thunderbolt 4 split cable, and adds up to four 4K displays, Gigabit Ethernet and five 10 Gbps USB ports.

Up to 230 W through one split cable.
The dock runs from a 300 W ThinkPad slim-tip adapter. Its Thunderbolt 4 passive split cable (0.7 m) plugs into the dock with one connector and splits at the laptop end into a Thunderbolt plug and a slim-tip power plug, delivering up to 230 W to workstations.
The rear Always On USB-A port charges a phone or headset at up to 5 V / 2.4 A whenever the dock has power; the front USB-C and the rear Thunderbolt 4 port supply 5 V / 3 A.

Up to four 4K displays.
Or 8K on HDMI.
Two DisplayPort 1.4, one HDMI 2.1 and a rear Thunderbolt 4 port that also carries video. Choose how many screens to see Lenovo's maximum for each.
Figures are Lenovo's published maximums from the dock's user guide; they depend on the USB-C or Thunderbolt port on your computer and on each monitor.
Thirteen connections, front and back.
Video, Thunderbolt 4, network and three USB-A on the back; a USB-C, a USB-A and a headset jack up front.

Wired where it counts.

- PXE bootStart a supported computer from the network through the dock.
- Wake-on-LANWake a supported computer through the dock.

Silent firmware updates
Lenovo Dock Manager installs dock firmware without interrupting the user.
PXE, Wake-on-LAN, MAC pass-through
Network boot, wake and MAC address pass-through through the dock on supported computers.
Intel vPro
Intel vPro / AMT pass-through support through the dock, depending on the computer.
Always On charging
The rear Always On USB-A charges a phone at 5 V / 2.4 A whenever the dock has power.
Works with Thunderbolt, USB4 and USB-C laptops.
Lenovo lists Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, USB4 and USB-C laptops running Windows 10 and later; the 230 W split-cable charging is for workstations.
A Thunderbolt 3 or 4, USB4 or USB-C port with video (USB-C Alt Mode). The 8K and 5K figures depend on the computer's port.
The dock driver, and Lenovo Dock Manager for silent firmware updates, from lenovo.com/support/docks. MAC pass-through, Wake-on-LAN and the mirrored power button may not be available on non-Lenovo laptops.
Factory sealed.
This one is factory sealed, so it skips the bench entirely — it ships exactly as it left the manufacturer.
New stock arrives sealed and stays that way, so there is no bench record to show.
It carries the same 1-year AnyHDD warranty as everything else on the site.

Questions we get asked.
Do I need a workstation to use it?
The split cable and 300 W adapter are what deliver up to 230 W, and Lenovo positions the dock for mobile workstations. Lenovo lists Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, USB4 and USB-C laptops on Windows 10 and later as compatible; MAC address pass-through, Wake-on-LAN and the mirrored power button may not be available on non-Lenovo laptops.
How many monitors can I run, and at what resolution?
Up to four at 4K 60 Hz each (two DisplayPort, HDMI and the rear Thunderbolt 4). One display can run at 8K 30 Hz on HDMI; two can run at 8K 30 Hz on HDMI plus 5K 60 Hz on Thunderbolt 4. Lenovo notes the figures depend on the computer's USB-C or Thunderbolt port.
Can I plug my laptop into the rear Thunderbolt 4 port?
No. The laptop connects to the host port with the included cable. Lenovo says not to connect the computer to the other Thunderbolt 4 port; it is for a display or device and supplies up to 5 V / 3 A.
My wireless mouse or keyboard lags. What should I do?
Lenovo recommends plugging the 2.4 GHz receiver into the front USB-A port or the right-most rear USB-A port. To wake the computer from the keyboard or mouse, avoid the Always On port.
How is it different from the Universal Thunderbolt 4 Dock?
Same body and ports. The Workstation Dock ships with a 300 W adapter and a Thunderbolt 4 split cable for up to 230 W to workstations; the Universal Thunderbolt 4 Dock (40B00135) uses a standard Thunderbolt 4 cable, a 135 W adapter and charges at up to 100 W.
How fast does it ship?
Every order ships with tracking. Delivery options and timing are shown at checkout.
What warranty comes with it?
One year from the date of delivery. It may also be eligible for the original manufacturer's warranty, but AnyHDD's own 1-year coverage applies either way.
What if I need to return it?
If it fails in the first 30 days, you choose replacement or refund. There is no restocking fee, and refunds go back to your original payment method. If the item arrived defective, damaged, or isn't what you ordered, AnyHDD pays the return shipping; for any other reason the return label is yours to cover.
Who is AnyHDD?
